It's a free service, we don't charge you for looking and contacting a Wedding DJ and we don't charge the DJs to get listed. Some DJ listing sites will put DJs who pay them the most at the top, and many sites won't check the DJ s actually have the certificates and insurances they claim to have !

The higher accreditation level Wedding DJ s also have Health & Safety statements and risk assesments. None of these items prove a DJ is going to fill your dancefloor, however they do prove that he runs his business in a professional manner, and is therefore more likely to give you a great wedding disco, personal service and not dissapoint you on your big day !

Don't be persuaded into spending more than you need to on a DJ or disco for your Wedding, but do spend wisely on professionals who will provide exactly what you need. It really is a mistake to go with the cheapest supplier, there is a reason they are cheap, and it's unlikely to be that they do it for fun/ love/ because you sound nice...

It's much more likely that a cheap disco will dissapoint you on your big day, so bear in mind what your real priorities are, and what your guests will really enjoy and what you will all take away from the day. Hopefully many happy memories !

Choosing your Wedding Dress will take lots of research, as will choosing the right venue. Your Wedding DJ will be a major part of your wedding reception for 4-6 hours, so shouldn't you also give careful consideration to this aspect of your big day ?

You could find a disco for £100 and another for £1000. Both will play music, but does it end there ?

Will your Wedding DJ have a massive song collection,and will he have the experience to use that collection to fill your dancefloor ? Will his equipment look tatty or tacky in your chosen venue, and will his sound system have your guests holding their ears because it's distorted or will it be clear and loud enough to dance to, yet not blasting out so people can hold a conversation ?

Does he have Public Liability Insurance (required by many venues) ? Do you get a contract to ensure he's going to turn up on the day ? Will he discuss music with you ?

In our experience ( we are DJs not website developers !!) you should budget for between £350 and £550 for a professional Wedding DJ. Much less than that and he may not show up on the day, as someone has offered him more money. Much more than that, and you need to be asking what extra's you will be getting
