WEDDING DJ CONTRACT
This is the contract we use for a Wedding DJ or Wedding Disco, it gives all the details of what you require from us, and the payment details. Each Wedding DJ will have his own contract, but they all aim to do the same thing, secure the DJ s services for the evening and reassure you that it's all going to happen as planned
Every professional DJ will issue a contract, so that you and he understand what you expect from each other.
This will include the Wedding date, time to be set up by, performance start and finish times, venue location and any special arrangements you have made, such as LED Uplighting, DJ Dress code or other special arrangements
It will also show the full price and any deposit or booking fee. The cancellation terms as well as information regarding what happens in case of his illness or vehicle breakdown.
The DJ contract should also show the name of the person actually doing your disco ! This may seem obvious, but some DJs act as agents, and give work to their colleagues when they are already booked without telling you !
If the person you've dealt with so far has been polite, professional, insured adequately, experienced and understands what you need on your big day, you want to ensure that this is the same person performing at your event !
An agent should make it clear from the outset that it's not him performing at your event, and should allow you to talk through the various details of your Wedding Reception with the actual Wedding DJ who will be there on the day
Do read the contract carefully, and ask questions where something is not clear
Here is a sample of the contract we issue, contracts are often worded differently, but so long as you understand and agree what is detailed, then you shouldn't go far wrong
